I began my journey with Reiki with my husband, in 2000, out of a desire to remain as healthy and happy – as easily as possible – for the rest of our lives. We took our first Reiki class that year not knowing exactly what to expect. We were amazed by what we experienced and what we now felt was the miracle of Reiki and energy healing.                     

We continued our studies and became Usui/Tibetan and Karuna Reiki masters from Sue Marinelli and an ICRT teacher – Jessica Miller, in 2002 and 2004 respectively. We then studied with other teachers from the International Center for Reiki Training -- Laurelle Gaia in 2004 and 2009 and returned to take Reiki I and II with Kathy Lipinski and a second master class with William Rand, ICRT’s founder and President, in 2013. During that time, we also traveled the East and West coasts of the United States and to South America to study other forms of energy “medicine” taking classes with Julie Rosenshein and noted medical anthropologist and psychologist Alberto Villoldo, among others.

While I began giving Reiki to myself and to family, friends and others in 2000, I began teaching Reiki in 2009 and have been teaching ever since. Reiki is truly a blessing and has definitely become an integral part of my life.
